Metal Detectable
2008 will see Magnum launch a new range of Metal detectable materials for the food labelling markets and other metal detectable areas. These labels are commonly used in
swing tags, clothing labels, lock and loop labels and primarily in food production. The purpose of the labels is to activate an alarm when the label is detected. For example if a metal detectable label had fallen into a food product the detectors would sense the metal in the label and sound the alarm and the product would be rejected before it even got to the end of the production line.
Our plan is to carry three different versions of the product to cover all requirements.
- A paper version with a filmic layer in the middle to make it durable.
- A paper laminated to a high quality matt polypropylene which will be the standard.
- A paper laminated to a high quality polyester which will give superb temperature resistance.
All of the options above are thermal transfer printable on both sides and are all very durable heavy duty products. To find out more about these products and other similar products in the
